as far as I k now it's impossible to script, it's just a matter or luck, the script can only say travel to x, it can't say travel to x but backwards. However I have been wrong before

The video is more a demo of gameplay, saying this is how it's going to be, obviously there's things people will and wont like. The sirens aren't final (although I plan to use them for my private version cos Qs rock haha) but yeah the siren was more a demo of what I plan to do, the siren has startup tones before wailing, will be the same in the Eq2b version . As for parked cars and traffic. Again everything we do is a compromise between gameplay and realism. Having too many parked cars ruins traffic scripts and blacks up roads making it harder for emergency vehicles to overtake (even with firelanes haha) so there are still a lot of parked cars (but mainly on side streets) whereas all the action of yesterdays video was shot on hightstreets . As for the traffic, it's hard to explain but I'll say yes, after playing for a while there is plenty of traffic, but not too much as when you block a road the street isn't instantly filled haha. Hope this answers a lot of questions, and please (I'm trying to be friendly about it hha) don't give us 'advice' on release dates. Is kinda patronizing being told 'oh you guys shouldn't rush in' or whatever We know when we are ready, we will release when ready Dyson x

Rotary lights, they rotate, without any explanations nothing we can really do haha, I think they look awesome! haha

If I can get hold of EQ2b samples from a static source I can make a better one I also added way too much reverb, won't do that for the real sirens

There is, but I accidentally disabled the alarm sound, dunno how. So nope it wont sound. It may do on other people's machines who knows. It is set up to but wont work on mine.

Possibly in a future version, but there's no point to them, unless there were a major disaster the DC wouldn't just be hanging around in Manhattan. I barely get use for the EMS captain haha Here we go then.. official light preview plus a substantial amount of gameplay. Unfortunately E10 & L10 didn't get a call whilst this vid was being made, so you'll have to sit tight for those. Also note the rework of the engine considerable improvements on all trucks

If they are 'fans' they would be happy with the mod, else they'd be critics or just nothing haha xD And yeah, I still have the model it's not been deleted, but I'd prefer to wait to tinker about until I've already laid the safety net of a released version

For now yes. I don't want to overcomplicate a very stable version by throwing an EMS station into the Frey, I know how to do it, just I'm contemplating balancing issues

nope the ems station would require extra scripting, scripting I didn't plan on doing the way I am doing it atm is more towards the original game, sending to HQ after every call, however I may change this, it depends how the gameplay is shaped in game .

On these issues I stand firm, the gameplay aspect I have always worked towards the gameplay I wanna create. Remember the mod is constantly being renovated and the version I sent you and raf is already out of date Just trust me on this one 'cos I shall not be swayed

Would require the entire of the FD scripts for the Firehouse to be re-done for the PD, s'not gonna happen, I don't see the issue with calling in some off map units

you can have as many units on map as you want, you will have to purchase any extra units though, but if you disable off map units all you will have is Duane and ten house to battle medical and police incidents

Yes you are, and a) why? b) if you do it will cause quite serious issues in game. e.g. wont be able to call any ambulances.
