Will do Sven the new stuff is looking good gonna have christmas break soon so progress will be halted, also got January A levels to sit. So everything will be slow going. Meh haha

Here's the blunt truth. The mod is progressing, at its mazimum speed. There are still some irritating things we wish to change. Units we wish to add and general things to add in. I haven't posted in over a week because this topic genuinely is filling with spam. The release date has been discussed for about 3 pages now (more collectively) so please, no more. I have had so many additional requests for a release date across Youtube, PM, Facebook and even on this topic. Again no more please. I've kept relatively cool about it all which seems to invite more. So in conclusion, development is still on-going, any further mentioning of the release date will be ignored and finally I am removing any projected release. It will be out when it's finished. Dyson

Sorry yeah, we're a multi-million dollar company in disguise. And no there will be no EMS station, I have said this. There will be a hospital with 2 parking spaces (any more sent to hospital than 3 and the ambulances are just left wherever the driver wants haha) which is arguably realistic

Yeah very small patrols to avoid minimal jams, one in upper west, one in mid east (Manhattan not Iran) and one yet to be added in the south around Times Square. We're currently adding the MERV 2 and an NYPD mobile command. MERV will operate same as the Major Emergency Vehicle in the LA Mod. NYPD Mobile Command will... Allow the purchase of PD officers (hopefully this only a concept atm) Allow 9 rioters/criminals to be detained Transport 9 officers to the scene.

First up. 1,000,001 bugs? You're joking right? People are trying to pick this mod apart, even as picky as 'oh that door has opened inwards'. I'd like to say there are no fatal crashes (except one which has only been reported by one tester on one occurrence. The mod is very stable, everything works, and does what it's supposed to. Sure there are one or two issues where a building physics are a bit screwed up. But you're giving the impression that this is some half arsed mod, that is full of bugs and is barely playable. Secondly, lets all grow up yeah? Not playing mod, but my topic, surely I can enforce it. The NASA metaphor really summed up our situation, yet it started yet another argument. And thirdly, the release date has changed yeah, atleast you have had one, people have been worshiping the original NY mods every move based off a few videos and photos. Sure they outrank anything we've achieved but doesn't mean you should treat us any differenty. Up until November we wrre essentially a 2 man team. Everything has come together as planned, most bugs have been fixed. And if I do say so myself... I like it. That is all.

NEVER redirect, and if you halt cars then it's all fine, there should be no jams, I mean if you hold them up for like an hour and the entire map becomes grid locked, maybe. But other than that once you allow traffic to flow again the trafiic sorts itself out again real quick

agreed, I originally took away all call FD/EMS commands and all redirect functions, but after a major CTD months ago I forgot to re-do all those changes haha

If anyone has any issues with the release date, please voice them, remarks like don't really mean anything, we've pushed it back for good reasons, it's not like we're pretending we're finished, I'm sure the beta testers will agree the version they have is close to finished, just needs final edits (most are already done since beta). Check about 12 posts earlier, gave a complete list. Yes every unique engine requires a seperate model, for example E9 has LED lights whereas E7 and E10 have rotaries. The Rescue Personnel wont have a mazmat command no. This would render the the Squad Co useless. The squad company will feature Hazmat personnel but requires you specify them when spawning .

In real life it has a more powerful cannon and acts as a way to transport large quantities of foam (used by the cannon). In game it acts as a normal engine, it is only included because we used the E9 L6 S1 firehouse
