  2. You need to add the ladder proto to this list of connectable rigs in the 'attatchhose' script. I added several engines, a ladder and a satellite to the list and they all worked. Also you need to make sure you connections are named 'pump1' to 4
  3. If you got this texture through beta versions of the Manhattan Mod (which I'm 90% sure you did) please DO NOT use it. This texture is Nnico's texture, so please ask him for permission before using it. Also don't claim it's yours

  5. That's because the Rig was custom built to very specification of the pre-9/11 Rescue 1 captain. So it's supposedly as good as it can ever be

  7. Yeah there are, just ask the BETA testers who have to download a new patch every couple of days. From adding new units right down to small tweaks, every day we are adding new stuff.

      Unlucky bro, I had 2 exams straight, did the first fine, then fuckkked the second. I asked to leave the exam hall because I was just sat there staring at the paper.. Luckily it's a re-sit, so I've already got a D in it to fall back on.

  12. This isn't a bug report topic, unfortunately you've just bought me another week of PMs regarding the mod being out. We keep our reports private, so please follow suit. All the things you have mentioned are already known and being removed. The traffic redirect will NEVER return, it causes far more issues than it solves.

  14. Not specifically police, and not specifically UK, but European emergency vehicles don't do anything for me. Most ambulances are glorified Mercedez Sprinters. Whereas US rigs vary from Department to department and are specially made, for example Mack rigs, or Seagrave aerialscope ladders, wouldn't see anything like that over this side of the Atlantic. I plan to do a private mod of my own local area, but the UK sucks for vehicles, not worth modelling, especially when theres civil versions available easily, if I do start another project after this and all of its ventures it will once again be with Rafael and will be another US city, possibly Chicago or San Fransisco, but that's to be discussed between me and raf when the time comes.
  16. The primary release will contain mission files, but no work has been done on them and they are the original missions, using them is strongly not recommended. Hopefully the freeplay and Multiplayer will be enough for you guys until we've worked on campaigns.

  18. Yeah, we've really been trying to monitor traffic flow, we diabled traffic lights in order to avoid Em4's terrible traffic light system from causing HUGE tailbacks. We also have the map built around avenues. Most of these are one way and feature a fire lane, so again this means there is less traffic build up. The only place you ever get jams is at Times Square. This is only because if you have a bomb or fire in TS all the peds run out into the road... Then we all know how great Em4 is when it just leaves those people there for the entire game -_- So yeah traffic shouldn't be any issue, we've also removed the Devil command that is redirect. Therefore the only way you get tailbacks is if you create them when blacking the road. So using common sense... one lane as soon as possible, then restore the traffic flow We also have speed controls when responding. We recommend when in traffic (or by defauly) setting it to slowest. This speed is the same as the traffic speed, so the Engines wont overtake in their weird way, but instead, more realistically, will follow behind traffic until there is room to overtake, then you up the speed. Hope this eplains the system
  19. Sorry bro, but if you look, just in the past week we've added 2 more firehouses, a tower ladder fully animated and an alarm system. Can't really complain man, we're not just sitting here twiddling our thumbs
  20. No.. -_- for the now third time, we haven't got any yet, we have yet to add and script them. When we do we will show them.

That's the plan, although for now the other two are primarily reserve engine quarters, so the rigs dont auto spawn, if you need to call in E9 off map, then you can send it to quarters if you want, that way you can play (SP) with Duane and tenhouse. But in (MP) where there's 4 guys all wanting a house, then you can use the extra houses. If that makes sense?
  22. An NYPD surge, would take more planning than any event response, and would not actually be a response to an emergency. Therefore it wont be included. However we may add a 'surge response' in the case of a bomb in Times Square, which calls a response of 8 PD units at once, varying from Crown Victoria to ESU squad. In terms of the funeral, there won't be a funeral mission, because if we based it off the VIP mission, who would want to attack a funeral? So instead we will add one of 2 possible missions: -Presidential visist. Almost the same but with the president and set in New York. -Thanksgiving Day Parade. The floats will be the vehicle set to a path, then its up to PD to close down the area and block off traffic. (My personal preference). Just done another gameplay video of some gaming I did last night (Singleplayer, for all you Multiplayer haters!) Shows off: -NYPD -EMS -Dragonfighters -Duane -New Traffic flow -Midtown (Briefly) First up was a 10-75, gas station on fire, ended up with 2 maydays, but no civilians injured. E7 L1 E9 B1 E6 PD & EMS Then I had a collapsed person up East 49th & Park Avenue. EMS Then several PD calls for petty theft. PD Will be up later today x
  23. As of 20 seconds ago... Duane TenHouse Hell's Kitchen (Rescue 1) DragonFighters Midtown All operational. The last 2 are not filled on startup, but units will return to them if requested. Even with all these houses, there's still E1 L24 E3 L12 E4 E6 off map reserve. So yeah..

  25. No, all previews have been of the same map, the one released in testing. The alarms are raised by the battalion chief, which then spawns the additional units.
