Well, I'm not going to comment on my personal opinion of intel graphics, but intel seem to not offer the support for our mod. Yet almost every other graphic set up works, or can be tweaked to work. Sorry dude. x

It's not a question of Computer age, it's a question of graphic setup. Integrated graphics, even on a new PC are unable to cope with the demand placed by this graphic intensive mod. Again other mods and original game will still work, just this mod. We've added a new map full of unique high detailed buildings, which requires rendering etc. x

There has been endless discussion about this, the bottom line is, intergrated graphics cannot handle the mod. We're working on a downgraded version but that's not yet finished. x

It's simply just a bi-product from the use of one way streets and em4's engine. We've tried everything to get round it to no avail. We think the running against the flow of traffic, however unrealistic, is the best compromise for a realistic map. We have made changes to address this issue in v3, we've made all streets running across map (West to East or East to West) which in reality are one way, 2 way roads, that way engines will drive on the same side as traffic going in the same direction. However it's simply not plausible to do the same for avenues such as 7th 8th and 6th (which are the 3 in v3), avenues are distinct in how they look. However again we've given dedicated Fire lanes which allow units to pass through (sometimes against the flow of traffic) and on 7th Ave where there is no dedicated fire lane, we fluctuate which lane is dedicated to fire from intersection to intersection, thus giving the impression that cars travel down all lanes, but allowing units to pass through. However again on 7th this is both directions, so yes there will be some occasions where units head up 7th which is a south bound road. A very good question and I hope my answer fully covers your query. Thanks! It's one of 3 on map, Rescue 1 (Single Rescue Company House) Engine 65 (Single Engine Company House) and Midtown (Engine/Ladder Company with Battalion too). All are as close to real world as possible, both in location and detail, in around and of the house itself. x

If the mid-mount isn't for this mod why's it in your list of screens? haha

http://www.bustler.net/images/news2/sonhetta_times_square_01.jpg That's more a question for the mayor. After Broadway was shut and made into a ped zone, artists were challenged with making art to style the area. We just copy the real world we don't ask questions Nope, there's no music or anything, try using a youtube proxy x

Some more videos to show off Times Square A lot of the buildings have not yet been placed but traffic systems are now functioning and around 35% of the final building placements are done. Thoughts/questions? x

Still not entirely sure what you meant (before you edited your post But don't worry about it, the models look top, looking forward to seeing some skins on em too! People always gonna hate, just sometimes fans aren't as vocal as people that'll jump straight to PMing etc. x
-
That post made no sense but I don't think anyone is criticizing your work, everyone including myself seems to love the models! x

Looking nice, hope this does see it through mods like chicago will widen the scope of mods out, will be good to have something that isnt NYC or LA Good luck x

Thanks for the response, that's all I was asking. I appreciate taking the time to answer as I always do no matter who, and your response re-assures me with both progress and that we'll see some gameplay in the forseeable future. Apologies if my questions came across differently to how they were intended, and I'm excited to see more. x

And there's the answer I was looking for, shame I had to go through half the teams random answers. Anyway y'know my opinion awesome as always, I really cant wait to see the gameplay and map side of things, any mod that takes on map making always interests me, distances from the original game, so I hope you capture the Canadian essence x

Ahh something like that would be exactly what I'm looking for yes, but for this mod not LA yeah. Just something to show off the mod, as a mod rather than a light show kinda thing, even just pictures would be cool. Just to look at how the mod will play out, I'm not trying to rush the reveal of stuff or anything, that's not my intention, purely my own curiosity, just thought my comments may spur some gameplay related reveals in the near future. As for stirring the pot.. I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at there, I'm asking questions, had no idea that wasn't permitted, there is no hostility in my tone, and I'd challenge you to find a time on these forums I've ever 'stirred the pot'. I'm good friends with Chad and at a time was close with the progress of the mod from the inside. So climb down off that high horse of yours, yeah? Muchas Gracias Dyson x

I'm very aware of the 'man hours' it takes, having made several maps etc, I'm just saying, even when I get the first few blocks down I'd show it off in game to demonstrate the gameplay feel, the base Em4 has a distinct feel and different mods have different feels to them. I think it'd be most beneficial to the people following progress to get this feel, rather than snap shots of how a rig will look lit up etc. Just trying my best to get to see into what it is you guys are doing, not trying to get you to reveal all or anything. Well anyway that's best I can word my thoughts, hope it influences your decisions on what you'll be sharing with the community, I just personally want to get a look beneath the surface of unit shots and light videos after following the mod for 2 years. x

That's the Standard Def version, one huge firehouse, more to be revealed soon, very different style to our HD versions

I think you miss my point, but fair response. I think it'd be nice (and I think my opinion reflects many members) to see functionality rather than just models and lighting, as nice as they are. I.e. it's great to see the endless variations of PD and EMS this mod will have to offer, but can we see stuff like, maybe just something as simple as responding to an EMS run in game, which requires minimum - one EMS unit, and about 20 seconds of gaming time. I don't think people are asking to see the entire mod nicely laid out moments from release, or to be told about features etc, just a glimpse of actual em4 gameplay that shows how things are gonna be running etc. Just my opinion,it may differ from others'. x

Suspicious luggage in times square, A woman seen loitering around the area. Police began to close off the roads entrance to Times Square and ESU and Bomb squad turned up on scene. The person was confronted by police and arrested at gunpoint. The bomb squad further inspected the device conforming a small Improvised Explosive Device, after disarming both the baggage and suspect were taken for further investigation. Times Square was re-opened, with a heavy police presence as a show of force to mitigate any further attempts. x -
- Actually half decent people models rather than '90s PS1 game style models. - Hydrant hook ups - Better scaling of people to vehicles - Better graphics, better than em2013, they still rather suck - Internal attack

press all 4 directions on the directional arrows and whilst doing that rotate the camera randomly, this used to fix my issue hope this helps! x

That's our plan as outlined in our update a few posts back, it'll either be automatic or manual (i.e you'll have to sub in different maps you want to use) All the maps will be centered around midtown Hope this answers your query x
