Well I mean it's simple to add back in, but was literally getting 2FPS, just wayyy to much going on. But yeah any other festive features people wanna see post pics and let us know! x

Well the maps now finished, anyone else got any suggestions for the Christmas update? So far snow and christmas decorations on the rig. x

The tire tracks have been dropped, they did follow the trucks though yes, its part of the base game, however it's so CPU intensive it's even lagging my PC out due to the amount of individual tracks it has to mark onto the map. x

yep with the christmas decorations and all x p.s. is this awesome enough for ya? Oh and Here's the new E34 with a nice christmas reef on it, parked in Times Square (updated to new layout) Hopefully these new festive updates should get some excitement back into the game for you all!

Yeah the maps pretty much done, there'll be a promo vid coming like tonight or tomorrow then I'll release as soon as I'm happy and ready to put it out x

I'm just confsed as to why people are asking for the old beta map when its the same in the update too. Hmm.

The update is the same map and the same stuff, you guys haven't downloaded the HD version by mistake?

With the feedback, once I have time I'll return and remove even more stuff to make the mod run again. Obviously making a version for a pc that isn't my own is kinda like stabbing in the dark.

it was left as a work in progress idea for later versions, just never got round to finishing it. I meant to mark it as unavailable for the release but guess not.

If you guys have a map set up I could lend a hand with a map texture if needed. I've worked on some UK ones before but never bothered making the mod to go with it. x

Time is stretched but I need to know why people are crashing, make sure drivers are updated, run as admin and set settings to lowest. That's all I can suggest without knowing more about the issue.

Yeah nothing on the map besides firehouses and events is changed, any map bugs will be down to the usual game. The traffic never tails back too far and usually sorts itself out 30 mins into game.

I appreciate what people have said and rafs repsonse but... I think this is all blown out of proportion, we did ask hoppah through team speak regarding a few scripts and he said we'd be cool to use the towntrucks. But regardless from early versions we've always thanked hoppah and Mikey and nnico etc for there huge contributions to the community, I believe there was a read me included but if not then surely you both will have seen the credit in every video and on every forum. I appreciate the fact we used them and they are your property but I think the deal made out of model use and all that is way over the top, this after all is just a hobby and something I personally did because I enjoyed it, but the amount o grief people constantly give each other is a bit of a sad joke. This isn't commercial after all. Regardless back to university so I don't have the time or the motivation to try to settle whatever the issues arising are, if you wish to remove our files out of spite so be it, but I think several years of work and enjoyment making this modification and the friends I've made won't be removed. I don't understand the sudden hostility on hoppahs part we seemed to be chatting just fine months ago and exchanging ideas and seeking a lot of advice regarding the mod, but fair enough if your opinions have changed. That's just my opinions on the matter I know ill likely get shot down, but frankly I wanted to speak my mind on the matter. Anyway sorry for the mix up with models, I think raf explained it, but I think to try to publicly slander the mod is a d*ck move x

Ok guys, the update is pretty much done, I'm really swamped for time lately as I've just gone back to Uni (or college for you Americans), so I'm hard pressed to find any time to work on the update. Anyway I'll put it outas soon as I can, I'm really hoping to get Rafael to do some model edits to make the Tower Ladder a little less buggy, but he's rarely available either, so just sit tight for now. x

I refer you to my earlier comment. 'This was released as a quick substitute for people who couldn't play, made in less than a day' so no AFAs weren't included, MVAs are though it all random.

Update everything is now working fine now except battalion 1 which parks between e7 and l1 and comes out of e7 bay (see videoes) so just gotta fix that and sort some traffic bugs then done

Well we're kinda super busy with life commitments at the moment, the updates are almost ready. We specifically put out the versions when we did because we knew we'd have these commitments. This version was only ever a substitute for the full game so was only uploaded to one mirror. Anyway... Here's an update. The SD version has become me own little pet project, I'm still moulding it how I want it, but it's closer to the game style of v1, with v3 scripts and models. Here's an updated unit list (on map) Station #1 - (Pride of Midtown) B9 E54 L4 Station #2 - (Rescue 1) R1 Station #3 - (Hell's Kitchen) E34 L21 Station #4 - (Duane St) B1 E7 L1 Station #5 - (Tenhouse) E10 L10 Engine 65 has been removed from on map. L1 and L10 will be the older models (not only do they look nicer but they're already modeled) There is also a full open precinct from v2 (see v2 for shots) with 3 squad cars ready to patrol on startup. No ESU station in this version. PD marine units have been added. NYC subway trains have been added. Also the map is looking to be edited (slightly) to have a more NYC theme, but that's only planned for now. The update also includes bug fixes along with the new Limited Water script from hoppah. Another gameplay video will come shortly. Still to do - Pathfinding debugs on the new stations Command debug Balance issues Remodel of the Seagrave Midmount +more Anyway that's all for now folks, hope this is enough to keep you going!
