I would imagine it is because they are durable and long lasting- I know for our EMS squad we have a utility body that a lot of departments use just because it is affordable and lasts a good amount of time

just downloaded it and played for 3 hours straight!! great job on it shane, its great, the only thing is that it seems that the ambulance in station 2's rear lightbar doesnt "flash" or turn on and the brush truck at station 2 doesnt have a return to station command?? And a quick suggestion: Id love to see another battalion added to station 2, seems like there should be more than one for the whole city. Great submod and great idea with the captains of the trucks- so realistic

And on to another question. The thing above the lightbar is an airconditioner for the rear cab of the ambulance

I have shut off the electricity to the airport but it says I still need to turn of the oil and I cannot find the place to do it. Thanks in advance

ok thanks for the help..one more question so do i copy the vehicles part of the submod and paste it to the vehicles of the la mod? because i have tried that and everytime it just drops the folder in with the vehicles

So I am looking to download occrams lighting submod for the los angles mod. I am not very good with downloading mods and I have folowed the directions that were given for the submod and still cannot figure it out. It says for windows xp ( which I have) I should copy it and then overwrite it but I am unable to find the overwrite option. Thanks in advance

i have windows xp and i can get into the game from my c drive and all of that but i dont see a " overwrite" option like you had said in the directions for download. I may be missing it because i am not to great with all of the downloading stuff.
