It looks terrible, get rid of it In all honesty, it is a pretty nice looking model. Keep up the work. I agree with more than one person in regards to release dates, it would be nice, but I understand this is work you guys are doing on your time, and that you want things just right before you release, so I will wait with baited breath, but god this is getting long. You guys keep teasing us with new units, its just not fair **pouts**, but oh well. Keep it up

I don't know about releasing maps, but I think for releasing vehicles, you just have to put all the prototype and model files together and put them up on a hosting site or email them to people who want them. You need to include a readme file that credits the original creators of the models (vehicles, lightbars, etc.) If you're willing to release anything, I'd be interested in playing with the MP cruiser you made.

If I remember correctly from earlier discussions, there won't be. The major reason, is that to the best of my knowledge almost nowhere in Canada actually still uses tillers. Most of our ladders are straight ladders mounted to the truck, (based on toronto's naming) either an aerial (only ladder), a platform ladder (aerial ladder with bucket on end) or a tower ladder (articulated boom, with bucket on end, and a ladder attached to the side of the boom). Hope it helps

Realism definetly plays a role, how units look affects game play. If a unit looks like crap, or has bad lighting, I find myself less inclined to use it. With realism, there is also a line between what is real, and what you want. I know that I've already modified little bits of the lights on other updates (even your LAPD update) to match what I wanted, or what in my opinion would go for safety or have seen on others. I'm not sure if it will necessarily motivate people to realistic play, but it will definetly improve the enjoyment and the experience of the game.

Aww come on Goog, you mean you don't want to have the mobile christmas tree on the map at all times? You could make the Tahoe look like this and then give just every other unit it's lights as if it were a civi car, cause I doubt many graphics cards could handle that much at once. For lighting, can you guys put lights on the side of pushbars plz? It's something I've always wanted for my cruisers and trucks, but haven't had time/knowledge or patience to attempt it. cheerio chaps

In Ontario, you tend to see White UMPCs throughout Toronto and York whereas peel likes there unmarked or stealth grey chargers. I have actually seen OPP unmarkeds, that look like that blue one, complete to the chrome trim around the windows. I think you guys made the right two choices if I do say so myself

Hey, so I know that the mod is getting rather heavy in terms of units. That being said however, I was wondering if there were any plans to add any units from CVSE? Now that we have the Sheriffs going in game, I thought maybe there might be a place for CVSE. If there isn't then that is perfectly acceptable as you guys are doing an awesome job on this. It's just my opinion. Cheers

Remember, the V3O is the model file, the .dds is the image. If the file is "fake.dds", you can try to convert it using a dds converter. If it says conversion failed, rename it to "fake.v3o" (remember if it has the same name as the original v3o you may want to use a different name), open the editor, unpack said file and then close the editor. Go back to the file, rename to "fake.dds" and then throw it through a converter and it should come out as a .png or .jpg whichever you're trying to conver to. Hope this is helpful. Your units look interesting, I wait to see more.

I like the overal look, it shows promise. I really like the MP cruiser, just seems like a nice touch to include with the base and the fact that there is already CNG in game. I would have to agree with newfoundking though, that cutting up a police cruiser for extrication training, probably wouldn't ever happen. Just my $0.02, but it looks good, keep up the work

I think I might know the issue with the lightbar. Have you looked at the actual v3o file? Cause I know that some of the units, such as the swift water truck, all have the lightbar as a part of the dds, but the shape and such for it is actual in the v3o file and you have to delete the vertexes in something like z modeller to change the bar. Other than that, things look good

Go to your harddrive and into program files, select the game (mine is listed under 'wizard works'), open mods folder, click la, then go to specs folder.
