  1. Here's a couple examples, hopefully they help. Can also find them a lot on YouTube and Flickr and they show you nicely what the backs and side look like.
  2. I don't think that there are any FEMA units, nor an updated coastguard truck, but check out Itchboys "new la mod vehicles" thread, he's created ford taurus's, explorers, new dodge chargers, new tahoe's and suburbans, chevy caprice, etc for the mod
  3. Ya, sorry for the confusion about the lights, guess I wasn't clear with my explanation. Was a minor thing, but thought you'd like to know. All your works so far are great. Definitely a lot of effort being put into your works.
  4. Something I noticed with the turn signals on your Ford vehicles, the lights on the outside of the headlight cowling shouldn't flash, they turn on with the headlights at night. The Amber above the actual headlight is what should flash when the signals are activated. just something I've noticed with a few peoples Ford Models.
  5. Hey Itchboy, So I found a video that shows it fairly well for you. This one is of the trucks used by the 407ETR for basic highway maintenance, garbage collection, accident response and some plowing in winter. Here's also some pictures of other Highway and City Trucks to give you a variety of ideas. The far away one is the front of a city of toronto one. Amber light on the driver side, blue on the passenger (for snow plowing), two in the grill and two under the arrow board on the frame that supports it. There's one from a truck on the 401, amber to the side of the board, reds below are tied to the brake lights and turn signals. The Last couple are Toronto Police Highway Cruisers (old Crownvic and newer ford explorers), hope the variety helps. Cheers
  6. Cool, din't know they were in mainly Manhattan, saw the picture and thought I'd share with the group
  7. Don't know if anyone has seen this, new ESS based off a crew cab F450, instead of the older method of making them with standard cabs. https://www.flickr.com/photos/triborough/15151898080/
  8. In regards to all the vehicles in those pictures, the work is looking amazing. Can't wait for them to be released.
  9. Thanks Randomperson. Not sure I've opened the full editor in awhile to remember that.
  10. CalTrans looks awesome, can add it to my growing fleet of Engineer Vehicles. I've redone my own USFS utility using the F250 modelled by the crew from the Ravenna submod based off the old Ford Excursion. Skin is done by me, painted green, labelled, USFS decal applied. Lights are from the old New York submod, but with side windows added by me and an arrow bar on the roof, lit by me, model from the LASD Tahoe by Goog1967.
  11. Found the 150, didn't see the 350, maybe I was looking in the wrong spot. Thanks
  12. I've seen a couple Suburban's and Ford Expeditions with NYPD Officers (White shirt) being chauffeured around by normal NYPD officers
  13. Hey Itchboy, not asking for release date, just asking if the F150, F350 with caps were released. I didn't see anything specifically saying they were, so was curious. Cheers
  14. That's an awfully low lit Tahoe for NYPD. You watch some of the videos for them and the front of the truck looks like a friggin Christmas Tree there's so much going on on it. http://youtu.be/N8rg2so-bC8?t=58s
  15. Sure, I'll see if I can get you some while I'm working this week. Fair number around Toronto, both city and provincial trucks. I have some of Toronto Police cars with big flip up arrow boards, they're used on the highways for greater visibility, but don't have any utility truck ones yet, only one or two of one involved in a collision at an accident scene. Trailer would be neat, I'm guessing you'll add the redirect command to the trailer, so you could turn it on and off?
  16. What about an NYPD Ambulance? They have atleast two built of Ford E-series Van Chasis. Here's an example of the front. Lights appear similar to FDNY ambulances, but they have an arrow bar on the back of them. Thoughts? http://a.abcnews.com/images/US/ap_cops_shot_salute_141221_16x9_992.jpg
  17. If you're soliciting votes for CalTrans, I say make the Ford, I prefer Fords to Dodge and you're seeing more and more superduty's used in fleet roles for stuff like this. Also, don't know if you've figured it out yet, but is there a way to make either a flip up or permanently up arrow board for the truck? You seem them on highway trucks a fair amount, because their visible from such a distance.
  18. Anybody else notice on the actual real world ambulance, it looks like both rear turn signals point the same direction? So no matter what you're doing, you're always going to be turning right when they're on.
  19. It works, you just have to make sure you replace the correct maps in the switcher file, otherwise it crashes to desktop.
  20. That's the picture I was talking about, but I couldn't find actual link to show it. Van looks great, only comment is your red and blue grills should be reversed, blue typically goes on the passenger side and red on the drivers side, at least on the front of vehicles. I think I've seen a picture inside the rear of that van, and it's filled with dog cages and such to facilitate the transporting of USAR Dogs to scenes.
  21. I have only ever seen a Ford E350 van serving as a USAR dog vehicle. Lightbar on roof, lights on the front fenders, no pictures of the back of it. https://www.flickr.com/photos/navymailman/5496199280/in/photolist-oAuxjQ-a7Jstk-6B1yEA-a1ACzk-9j2h4k-9nFsyy-9n9LGp-cXVGiE-5XRUy5-8Fq6YB-a1Ds6Q-79w9k2-f38m7S-f2T6ua-9j5i3L-aDbHtY-9rBGUB-a3TaWU-9rrGTx-6o4Qgp-ai9QcR-aicApu-aicByf-aicDaN-av3Bps-9qh4t1-9qe3dZ-oxz2pQ-9j2bU4-auZVsz-auZW9T-9LXyKu-ai9QxP-6o3TBT-9kaqt1-6o6euJ-aicCPC-oeLEYT-auZGf6-auZUoF-auZV6T-cXVPRj-auZVYZ-9rsbwC-av3BvW-abc18M-av3B2f-oxvckr-7QYJna-av3B2U And I've seen pictures of the LA Co Sheriff with lights on the back doors, again nothing of the front window, but grill lights. The back is two lights, top half of each is amber, bottom is blue (like most LA Sheriff), with amber on one lit up, at the same time as the opposite blue is. Hope that helps and makes sense. Similar light size to the Emerg light on the back of the LACoFD Squad.
  22. Hey Finn, Just wondering how the Ford Explorer you were working on is coming?
  23. Looks good, I'd like to see it with the Ontario Logo, but nice to see Canadian models
  24. Looks good, and the lights seem to show properly, red/white front, red/white/blue rear.
  25. I like the looks of the cruisers, becoming more and more partial to the new Ford's every time I see them. Dyson, were those supposed to be white's or blue in that picture? I've noticed more and more the bluelight being used in place of white with a white polygon, because it shows better and doesn't overpower the way the white's do. If you were going for blue (and I'm sure you know this), from what I've seen, it looks like NYPD only puts blue on the outer light on each side.
