I've got some very good news for you all. Pending a few permissions and releases, and the two units that need lights, the mod is pretty much ready to go! I'll probably be putting out a 5-10 minute gameplay video later on this week to showcase everything when it's in a state I'm happy with. For now, heres a preview of the Ladder. Same basic concept as the ladder from Edgewater, just without that full light bar and instead two separate ones. When it comes to attaching the front to the rear, it's far from perfect, but it'll do for now. Lightbars, cab and wheels by RD_Saarland & Rachammer, rear by Hoppah. Skin by me.,

Heres a quick update. Firstly, I redid the colors on the county ambulances. They'll now be orange instead of of red so you can tell them better from the fire department. Why orange? well anyway here they are, let me know what you think Ambulance Model by Firequi, Fed sig. Twinsonic and Mars Skybolt by itchboy

We're almost at the end folks, Battalion chief vehicle is almost finished. Just needs some lights done. I had seen nobody use the S&W lightbar so far so I decided to plop it on on. I wasn't sure how it was going to come out but I'm happy with it. One down, only two more units before I can let you all get your hands on this. 1984 Impala by Itchboy, S&W lightbar by Itchboy, skin by me. If you're wondering why my game looks a bit more colorful, I've been playing around with reshader recently

Second update of the day! I've been working hard on the 3 remaining units of the Fire Department, First of all heres the Hazmat squad. I'll have to find some lights I like but after that we should be ready to roll. And heres all the other fire units. Two engines and the rescue. When I finish up with the HAZMAT, All I have to do is put the ladder truck and battalion cars ingame, and V1 should be set for release

Hey y'all, another update on Edgewater PD. Here's our currently completed units. Sooner or later I'll record a video with each of them to show off their lights but for now, enjoy a screenshot. Ford Ranger by Yankee43 with lightbar by EmC-Unit. 1991 Chevrolet Caprice by Itchboy with lightbar by Cops. 1988 Dodge Diplomat by Itchboy with his Code 3 SD lightbar

Progress on the edgewater police department. Slowly and surely I'm learning my way around polygon lights, but for now let's enjot some good old fashioned rotators. Model by Yankee43, Lightbar by EmC-Unit, skin and lighting by me

I've been working on getting everything ported over right but theres still some work to do. I've been working on a HAZMAT truck replacement. I plan to recreate something like this It will probably use the same rear as the rescue because I'm lazy. Alternatively I might try for something like this http://www.firenews.org/mass/b/boston/rescues/BostonHazMat79.jpg I'm going to upload a first version when I get all these units set up and ready. Afterwards I'll start working on a version with some better lighting and some station switches. Here are a few screenshots from the private version. Not everything pictured will make it into Version 1! Credits: Itchboy, RD_Saarland, Firequi, Hoppah, Rhis

Polygonal lights not showing up or placing properly.
CanadianFrog replied to CanadianFrog's topic in Modding Related Support
I've figured it out, it's a bit odd but I'm getting the hang of it Thank you! -
Hey all I was recently trying my hand at polygonal lights and have met some odd problems. First of all, when I click, the polygon doesn't get corners. Sometimes I have to click twice, or right click, but no matter what I doesn't work. Second, when I click and drag the polygon doesn't move. And finally, they're just not showing up as lights in game or in the editor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for letting me into the team. I felt like it was high time Edgewater got a proper police department so heres Edgewater PDs 91 Caprice (courtesy of itchboy). If you're a fan of Colgate toothpaste, i've got good news. If anyone knows the credits for that Whelen 9000 lightbar please let me know so I can credit them accordingly. ,

Since the city in Hill Street Blues is never named, I took matters into my own hands. After consulting a few random name generators I came to the conclusion that this mod will take place in the fictional city of Malburn. Heres our rescue. Cab by RD_Saarland & Rachammer. Rear by the Edgewater mod team.

Boston Mod 2014 had a system pretty realistic to Boston IRL if I'm remembering correctly. -

wow, those models look pretty high poly for em4, but if it's possible then by all means, do it! -
I believe it's a bug in basegame EM4, I've encountered it on occasion with other mods
