    I have windows XP and I had to check if the config file was set as a read only file. I had to change it from a read only file and then it worked. P.S. I run at the same resolution as you. I found if I ran my monitor at it's native resolution the game ran faster then if I ran at a lower setting.

    The first time I played that mission I sent both of my patrolcars and an FBI suv to the house in the middle because I saw a black van parked outside. I went in with guns drawn and the two people were just standing there. I questioned the guy and he said "Me no speak english."

    If he did I don't think it will work with EM4/911FR seeing as we won't have the items and models needed to play those events.

    EM4 and 911FR are the same game. EM4 deluxe is different.

    I think it was a botched mission patch installation.

    I had the same problem. My police menu had two slicktops. Somehow the units folder in the Data folder had all the LA units as well as the original units. I had to delete all the LA units out of the "Data Units" and then it worked properly.

    Oh, no wonder I couldn't finish the mission. Really? When I played the kid was by the wind turbines (thats what they are).

    How are fireboats in LA staffed? For example, what would I put on the rescue boat ingame to be as realistic as possible? Also, how are LAPD helicopters staffed? There's at least a pilot and maybe a copilot but how many cops does it usually carry (if any)?

    Oh, just take a firefighter or a cop and escort the people away from the scene. Or, for longer distances take a cop and load the people into a police car and drive them away from the scene. Once you have them where you want you can release them.

    In which mission? Mission 6 in the LA Mod? To evacuate people arrest them, put them in vehicles and send them off the map.

    Best idea anyone's had in a while! I never use the vintage ambulance anyways. I believe MCERT1 edited the skin of the vintage RA to look like AMR or something along those lines. I'm not sure.

    Happy Birthday!!! Unfortunatly, the Netherlands, where Hoppah lives, is six hours ahead of you and me. So right now it's around 5 AM there. Maybe we'll all get lucky if Hoppah wakes up and decides to release 1.7 in the morning (his morning, probably around 12-1AM here) but I doubt it.
