I don't believe any stations have two 3/4 man engines and a 4 man quint. The only stations that have two engines and a quint run one of the engines as a 2 man engine with the quint as a light force for a total of 6 firefighters with the LF. Now, there are some stations that have two 3/4 man engines, such as station 129 and station 16, but they dont have a quint.

Isn't E7 a paramedic assessment engine? I don't see any paramedic markings in the screenshots.

The blackhawk is already in the LA mod. Why don't you just reskin it? It won't be able to drop water but at least you would be able to transport.

No southern California departments use black turnouts because of the weather, primarily the amount of sun they get. People would overheat. For the same reason you don't see many vehicles with a dark roof. Same thing goes for all the newer USFS appratus. You think it's a coinidence that they're all white in southern California?

I know there's an updated LAX RA skin bouncing around out there as well as an updated crash tender skin. Contact Xplorer for more info.

The hi-viz on all vehicles since the first RAs (2007 models?) to come with hi-viz has been toned down siginificantly. Compare: http://farm3.static...._37dee4fe6d.jpg http://www.flickr.co..._us/3367362856/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikesphotos_us/3537856596/ The current color is more of a darker yellow, while the old hi-viz is a brighter yellow and more like the ARFF color. -

You would have to add the station and it's accociated virtual objects to the map and then you would have to add a third part to three different scripts. -
Um, excuse me. http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/men-of-war - 80/100 http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/ruse - 76/100 http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/order-of-war - 69/100 http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/company-of-heroes - 93/100 If you want to consider the two expansions http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/company-of-heroes-opposing-fronts - 87/100 http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/company-of-heroes-tales-of-valor 70/100 All three CoH games average out to an 83/100, higher than any of the games you placed higher, and two of them scored better.

I don't like that Company of Heroes online. I tried the beta and didnt like it. I used to play CoH but then I had to reinstall my OS and haven't played it since. It an excellent game. Probably the best WWII RTS ever.

LA Restoration Submod (WIP)
billyfromhill replied to LACityFFengineCo287's topic in Submods [Not released]
LEVs are not used by the LAFD. The LEV ingame was completely manufactured. No unit exists in the LAFD. However, LACoFD uses paramedic squads which are similar to the LEV. That photo you have there is of an experimental vehicle that was assigned to EMS 14, the paramedic captain of battalion 14. LAFD wanted to test a unit that could carry a gurney and paramedic equipment that could quickly restock RAs and get them back into service faster. It is more of a command vehicle because the paramedic captain does more supervising than treating. EMS14 has not been in that vehicle for a while now and I believe it was converted into a communications support vehicle. Battalion 5 is/was in one of the experimental vehicles. I'm not sure if they still are or they switched back to a suburban. -

That rig you see there is not actually the real E97. They just took one of the KME's at the shops and slapped number 97 on it for the funeral. -
The PC version is a POS. It's nothing but a poorly optimized console port. I have a GTX 470 and my FPS will dip down to 30 FPS or so at times. That is unacceptable. If you're looking to buy it for PC I would seriously think of buying something else like Homefront or Crysis 2. The Crysis 2 demo runs better than Black Ops for me at least. Black Ops suffers from a lack of support. DO NOT BUY IT FOR PC! I'm waiting for Battlefield 3. It looks to be ten times better than Black Ops. BF3 should be worth $60. Black Ops is definitly not.

I think they were influenced by LACoFD since they bought Dodge's for their new squads also. I think it has to do with the emissions standards and the Dodge clean idle engines. -

The CHP is the state police even though they're called the highway patrol. There used to be the California State Police, but they merged with the CHP back in the mid 90's. -

Sort of. Read the description of the photo in the link below. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikesphotos_us/5164865453 Yes http://www.code2high.com/CHP/chp_p10.jpg http://www.code2high.com/CHP/chp_dodgecharger_6.jpg -
I would recommend either the Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced (with the optional windowed side panel), the Cooler Master HAF 912 Advanced or the Corsair 600T. The 600T doesn't have a window but it's not that hard to cut one yourself. CM 690 II - http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?category_id=19&product_id=2970 Side panel - http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=2982 HAF 912 - http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?category_id=19&product_id=3019 Corsair 600T - http://www.corsair.com/cases/graphite-series/graphite-series-600t.html As for lighting, I would recommend NZXT's LED strips over cold cathodes. I prefer white to illuminate the inside of the computer the best but they have several colors. http://www.nzxt.com/new/products/case_accessories/sleeved_led_kit_-_white You'll probably also need some more fans if you upgrade your case. Yate Loons as well as the Cooler Master ones are probably the best.

LA Restoration Submod (WIP)
billyfromhill replied to LACityFFengineCo287's topic in Submods [Not released]
Your post says BLS. Is the RA you have in the screenshot there supposed to be the BLS or ALS RA? I would guess that it's the BLS RA because the current LA mod ALS RA is perfect as-is. You can leave the hi-viz on if you want and just change the numbering and remove the "paramedic" wording. It would make it hard to distingush the ALS RA from the BLS RA though. One should probably have the hi-hiz (ALS) and the other should just have the red back with the white stripe (BLS). Whatever you end up doing, make sure the BLS rig has the 800 number and no paramedic wording. -

I hate to tell you this but that skin is inaccurate. All BLS rigs have 800 added to the station number and the roof of the red RAs is white with a red strip along the back with the unit number. Also, none of the RAs before the 2008 model year use LED lightbars. The only LEDs the pre-2008 red RAs use are the side perimeter flashers, the front grille steady burns, and the corner box flashers. The best bet would be to copy the skin of the ALS RA and change the unit number and remove the hi-viz on the back. http://www.flickr.co..._us/3371442734/ -

Um, battalion 1 has been in a new suburban for quite some time now. http://www.flickr.com/photos/99947036@N00/5332731970 It is correct that a few of the 2003 suburbans are still in use as battalion rigs, but the majority of the battalions and all the divisions are in new suburbans. All the battalions in division 3 are in new suburbans as well as at least battalion 1, 2, and 7 -

@ GerardTIII Be carefull when doing the RAs. The LAX RA should use the model of the current ALS RA with the cab mounted lightbar, not the box mounted lightbar. LA uses Ferno gurneys too. Not yellow Stryker ones. http://www.flickr.co..._us/3534524456/ I bring this all up because I want to make sure that these changes are authentic as possible and so you don't have to do work over again. Which model are you using for the BLS RA, 2008 Fords or the 2004 Fords without high-viz? I'm willing to do research work about the units if you need it. -
Is engine 7 LACoFD engine 7?

LA Mod 2.0.2 OMO (Oringinal Map Overhaul) Submod
billyfromhill replied to Texas_DPS's topic in Submods [Not released]
You do realize that both station 60 and 89 have a lot more units than what you have listed there. 60's has a task force, ALS RA, BLS RA, foam tender, and battalion 14. 89's has a task force, ALS RA, and a USAR. What if you did the Hollywood/W. Hollywood area with LAFD stations 27, 41, county 7's and county 8's. 7's would work since MCERT said he has a LACoFD battalion model. 27's has a task force, USAR, ALS RA, BLS RA and battalion. 41's has a engine and an ALS RA. 7's has an assessment engine, squad, and battalion, and 8's has a light force, engine, and squad. -

I can't really can't skin or model, but I can find photos and do research work and brainstorm ideas about how the firestations should be layed out. Have you thought about adding the new Dodge RAs instead of the 08' Fords?
