I'm building a new computer and I am thinking about using Windows 7 Beta as the OS. Has anyone used it? If you have used it what do you think of it?

Actually, the download version of EM4 (911 FR), requires you to type in the serial code to activate it. Fortunetly, it lets you install it on to machines.

There's two types of protestors. The "unauthorised demonstration" people are passive until you attempt to arrest them. The "violent hooligans" throw molotov cocktails and are agressive towards the police from the start.

Same here!! Although it only lags a tiny little bit when I have a unit selected. 1.7/1.8 are the only versions that have done this.

@ EggMcLovin. The standby command looks like this. On a completely unrelated subject. I was going through the command icons and I noticed speedup and slowdown icons. As far as I know, there are no "speedup/slowdown" commands in 1.8. Could Hoppah or somebody tell me what they were (or are going to be) for? See the attachments to see what I mean.

The question is do you want the AMR rig included with the rest of the units, or do you want it as a seperate download? BTW the standby commands are not assigned and will not work with the AMR ambulance. The vehicle can patrol however. There is also a slight bug with the AMR rig when it goes to the hospital. After the EMTs get back in the vehicle, a message scroll across the top of the screen that says "this vehicle does not belong in the fire station" and then the ambulance just sits there. You have to tell it to move somewhere or send on patrol or else it will sit at the hospital and block other RAs.

The grey commands mean that that function is not on. In the screen above, the automatic sirens are on but the siren itself is not on. Likewise, the hazard lights are not on either.

I downloaded it and they sent me a CD. It gives you the scenerio editing tool, the apparatus editing tool, and the simulator itself. All of the components are fully functional but you can only edit and play one scenario. You do need to have some sort of controller, a mouse and keyboard won't work. You can't map the controls so if you're not using a xbox 360 controller you have to play around with the buttons to see which button does what.

I'm planning to get 4 gb of ram. The reason I want a quad core is because of longevity. When I got my current comp I didn't think of the future. Most games nowadays don't support four cores. 3 or 4 years down the road when they all do, I'll be ready. PCI express is much faster and newer then PCI.
