Just select the bomb squad guy and command him to get equipment.

I wouldn't advise trying to removing integrated graphics from a motherboard, chances are it won't work.
-
I believe this is his motherboard based on his CPU-Z screenshot. Apparently he does have a PCI Express x16 slot. The GTX 260 Core 216 (55nm) is the best bang-for-the-buck card on the market. I use the EVGA version (link) and I really like it. It requires a 550 watt power supply. Newegg.com routinely has EVGA GTX 260 refurbs for $130 or so. The only downside is that you only get a 90 day warranty from EVGA on refurbs. Depending on your CPU you could experience some bottlenecking with this card. If you want something cheaper consider an EVGA 9600 GT/GSO or 9800 GT. They require less power and are less expensive too. If you haven't had a chance to look at this link I would highly recommend you do so. It breaks down all the video cards on the market by perfromance and labels the card with the best value .

Those two free programs tell you everything about your CPU and GPU (video card) respectively. If you provide me with that info I will be able to help you quicker, better and more efficiently. Download and run them (there's nothing to install) and report back here what I told you above. Do you by chance know what the wattage of your power supply is? Most video cards require a certain amount of watts and amps in order to run the card. Is your computer a laptop or a desktop? If it's a desktop you'll have to open it up and see what expansion slots you have. Here's a good link that breaks down all the video cards on the market by performance.
-
Do you play any games or stream HD? If not, you probably won't need an upgrade. If you do want to upgrade, look and see what kind of expansion slots your computer has and what kind they are. If you have a PCI Express x16 slot you'll have the most options to upgrade the video card. If you only have PCI slots or a AGP slot you can still upgrade but you don't have as many options. Download CPU-Z and run it. Under the motherboard tab look and see what chipset you have and post it here. Also download GPU-Z and run it. While on the the first tab click the little camera button in hte upper right hand corner and upload the pic here.

The truck is on a timer. It doesen't matter how many units are in the truck before it leaves. As soon as the timer is up the truck leaves regardless of the number of people on it. It sounds like the timer should be increased slightly.

I was wondering that too. It's not very realistic. Is there any way to have the civillian car pull over and the cop walk up on the drivers side(left tn the US)?
-
What about drives on the eSATA bus?
-
Thats exactly why I only bought a GTX 260 when I built my computer. I could of bought a more expensive card but I wanted to wait for hte GT300 based cards to coome out.

I beg to differ.Take a look at this link and tell me what you think. Pay special attention to the awards section at the end. http://gnd-techlabs.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=16

Go with Intel's Core i7. You can get a good Core i7 system from Cyberpower for $1500 or so. OC the CPU and GPU and you'll have a kickass system. Core i7 920 D0 stepping is THE CPU for gaming (esp. since they can hit 4 GHz with good cooling and a little voltage). Or better yet, build it yourself. One thing to note most pre-built gaming systems have a weak GPU, you'll want to upgrade to at least a GTX 2xx card (or wait for the GT300 cards). @ Xplorer. Since when is the 4870X2 the fastest card on the market? The GTX 295 smokes a 4870X2. Esp. the single PCB version.

How the command works is that if the criminal has a gun but hasn't pointed at anything or used it, the armed arrest command can still be used. Once the criminal points the gun at an officer or something else, the command doesen't work anymore. If you're quick on the draw you can use the armed arrest on a suspect before he points his gun and possibly arrest him before he starts shooting.

Anything that can minimize 911:FR?
billyfromhill replied to 917893678251's topic in Technical Related Support
Control-Alt-Delete is the only thing that works for me. Alt-Tab or the windows key doesent work in Vista Home Premium 64 bit. -
Just checking because in the video it does.

A Guide to the LAFD and assisting agencies....
billyfromhill replied to MikesPhotos's topic in Los Angeles Mod
Will we be seeing an update soon? This guide is indispensable and I would hate to see it fall by the wayside seeing as it is such a good resource. -
@ Hoppah. Another thing regarding the word "Paramedic". On the LAX ambulance the word "Paramedic", located above the rear wheel, has an "S" on the end. I did some research and the real ambulance only says "Paramedic". I don't if you want to change this or not but I thought I would let you know.
-
Great! Could you upload a screenshot?
-
Exactly. In all the photos I've seen, the word "Paramedic" is either on the front doors or the rear panels, not both.
-
Great! Don't worry about the other thing, I can change it myself. Will it be on the front doors or rear panels? I prefer the front doors but it's your call.
-
Hoppah, are you going to change the staffing of Engine 1 to just one FF/PM since the LAFD is moving away from the paramedic engines to paramedic assessment engines? Also, are you going to add the word "Paramedic" on the front doors or rear panels of Engine 1 (sort of how you added the 2 infront of the 88 on Engine 2 when you created light force commands) since it is a paramedic engine? See links to see what I mean. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikesphotos_us/3369924998/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikesphotos_us/3368878619/

Good eye! That's definitly the case when I stop to think about parking lots. @ Hoppah, don't forget the handicapped parking spots.
-
Keep them in the mod. I'm sure the the mod wont be THAT much smaller or quicker to load with three vehicles less. Besides, the airport missions would be no fun to play.

Yup, all of the GTX 2xx cards are dual slot and are 10.5 inches long. Glad you got a GTX 260. Is it the version with 216 shaders and/or built on a 55nm process? Use GPU-Z to find out. Nice pics. I like the Subway and the Wal-mart.
