I have the exact same problem. Now that you mention it, I never noticed it before 1.8 either. The only difference is that I only lag a tiny bit when a unit is selected. It's enough to be noticed, but not enough to make the game unplayable. Specs in sig.
Well, according to MikesPhotos, the sirens are spot on what LAFD and LAPD use. The radio sounds have always been off, but currently their the closest they've ever been to real life (which isn't saying much).
In my engineering class at school, I was tasked with designing some sort of organizer. Currently I am in early stages of the engineering design process and I need to conduct research as to what kind of organizer I need/want to design. I was assigned to do some "market research" and I need to survey people about organizers. I thought this forum would be the perfect place to do so as I can reach a wide group of people. Please answer the questions to the best of your ability. Thank you very much. Please keep in mind that the definition of an organizer is "anything that separates smaller items and makes it easy to keep track of them. 1. What kind of organizer would help to make things easier for you? 2. What kind of organizer do you want? 3. What do you need organized? 4. How would you use an organizer? 5. Where would you use an organizer? 6. How much would you we willing to pay for an organizer?
FYI Windows 7 is coming out on October 22. Wait and get a computer with Windows 7. Have someone build it for you. You get a much higher quality computer if you build it yourself or someone builds it for you.
I agree completely. My computer in my sig is more powerfull and has better graphics than both the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Do some research and you'll find the graphics chip in the PS3 is built on a 90nm process based on the GeForce 7800 and they're switching to a 65nm process. Guess what? My video card is built on a 55nm process and is clocked higher, not to mention my monitor runs at 1920x1080 so I'm gaming at the same res that the PS3 and Xbox can output if you have a 1080p HDTV. And the best part is my computer + monitor only cost me $1200.
