  1. I've been searching for a while but I've found a decent full-sized pickup for the USFS patrol/utility for the 1980s. Not an actual pickup bed like the 90s unit but as far as I've seen most of the older pickups had rear bodys like this. If you have any plans on adding some more USFS rigs into the mod I may be able to help with reference. I found a group while back that has a ton of photos of the old Chevy and GMC engines along with some others and even the Unimogs that the USFS had. (Update:) I found this photo which was interesting enough that I figured I'd tack it onto the post. Doesn't show anything new that isn't in my other post on this private EMS company.

  2. I suppose I do owe everyone here a progress update, considering it has been more than 4 months since my last update. The mod is still in progress, as is Edgewater (I'll probably be posting a similar message on that thread tomorrow). I'll be honest with all of you. Version one of this mod is not good. It does not live up to the standards I set for myself in terms of quality and detail. Thus, immediately after releasing the mod, I started working on a new version. I'm now stuck in a terrible loop. I get a few assets done, then I grow unhappy with the quality of them, so I scrap them and start over. A lot of work is being done behind the scenes. I just wish to refrain from showing it until I am happy with it, which could be a while but also could be quite soon. That is to say I have no idea when the next update will come, but I promise you when it does come, it will be work I am proud of.

  4. For the SWAT thing, it may be a case that I just completely didn't see the button, in which case, my bad! MCU are most often just converted city buses. Since you are making a fictional mod anyway, my suggestion would be to use any city bus from that era instead of a purpose-built unit (only areas with the highest budgets have those). Here is an example of a unit from the late 70s/early 80s: Also as a side note, the whole album that came from might be of some interest to you, though it is NYC centric. https://www.flickriver.com/photos/44700898@N02/popular-interesting/
