The Montana Mod includes many new vehicles, personnel, structures, and equipment. It is set in an alternate history/re-visualization of the real-life ghost town of Monida Pass, in Beaverhead County, Montana. The mod provides the player with control over the first responders of an American small town and changes the look and feel of the gameplay environment to match. All content in this mod may NOT be used in other mods! Not for commercial use! You are not allowed to make money from this mod. Conversion of any assets to other games besides the Emergency games is prohibited. Reuploading this mod to other sites besides emergency-planet.com and emergency-forum.de is prohibited.

  2. Again, I am watching the thread and seeing people's issues. Right now my strategy is to fix the worst bugs like the missing and failed callouts. There are other things that can't be changed like callout variance. There is no file to configure the frequency of certain calls. It really is random and I have no way of giving a specific event more "weight". The volunteer script issues are something I plan on fixing as well but I will need some guidance. Would it be better to add more POV's responding to station or should I program a few extra ones to always drive to scene ahead of the apparatus? I know this was discussed previously but I'd like to hear people's thoughts. Adding this feature will take longer to release the bugfixes.

  3. Just units to go to station, I’d personally prefer a fuller truck, obviously something cool would be a randomized amount of volunteers that respond each time, however that would take a fair bit of time, nonetheless for brush fires I like having the brush, engine and tanker go out, so personnel simply going to station would be nice. Also Itchboy, what am I doing wrong? I try to use the suction hose but no matter where or how I park my engines next to the water I the icon never shows for me, I did read the guide, but I just wanna know if it’s something I’m doing or if something is broken?

  4. Currently I believe there is no feature to suction water out of ponds, rivers, lakes, etc. There are a few ways: 1, connect a tanker into a engine/brush truck to keep it water supply positive 2, get a tanker to drop the portable pond, from there you can dump water from the tanker's water supply, (the portable pond has 3-4 supply connections and the water tanker has one) and then you can supply 3-4 engines/brush trucks with a single water supply, and can keep refilling it with the different tankers

  5. Well when the guide which I already read said make sure my vehicle is positioned properly with the parking script what does that mean? I’ve try that in multiple locations, I don’t even see the icon on my screen, never shows up. Where precisely can I use the suction works and how do I “position” the truck I’ve read the guide but with only two creeks there no where else to suction out of. So can someone please give me a answer that just isn't read the guide, I did, I don't know why when I park my engines next to the water, I don't know how close, how far, even when the side of my trucks are square sideways to the creeks, there is no Icon for the suction hose

  6. Same issue here. I sent a dog and looked everywhere. ended up just force completing the mission using the debug tool.

  7. Advice: Read the user and medical treatment guides before playing!! They're included in the mod folder, and there's a lot of calls that require special tasks in order to complete them, especially fires and medicals. I found this out the hard way by playing the same electrical fire call for a half hour... Thank me later

  8. I'm curious, so I had a look through myself. I am sure it's using West Falls vehicle models that were reskinned. Kinda ironic considering I helped make that mod too. I don't know the usage rules that Slate/Dennis put together for that but I personally think he's getting screwed because he worked on those rigs too. Have they stolen anything? For the time being, no, because I haven't seen their credits file or if they've borrowed any code that wasn't supposed to be out. I wouldnt know unless I had the files, which I dont, so I won't make any claims on my end. Where I do disagree is that they're releasing a reskin mod of the same area, same idea, and using Montana assets, some of which weren't allowed for reuse in other mods. I can't keep track of them all but there's quite a bit that I did not allow for repackaging into other projects. I'll leave it to bama to make a decision on this, because this mod isn't my idea, but his. It's also his map, his map texture, and I will have to hear from him directly if he gave permission for his texture and map work to be altered and redistributed. I don't have an exclusive monopoly over LA or Montana, but they could have chosen to be more original, or made more content than what I see here. The whole project is low effort and doesn't actually do anything to elevate the game. What do I plan on doing about this? Nothing until I have proof. The most I can do right now is put together a better project and let the work speak for itself.

  9. Everyone read the Montana guide that is located in the download file. Everything you need to know about the game is in it. How to clean up a oil spill to using the k-12 saw. The mod is amazing. Good job to all those who put effort into it.
