  1. Itchboy will be finished when he's finished. It took six plus years for the Miami Mod to finally be released and its a gorgeous piece of work that several people worked very hard on. Have patience and when the mod is released, you'll be able to enjoy it along with the rest of us.

  2. I figured the Mack Tankers might not have made it, I think the newest Mack was a 45ish, perhaps we could keep counting down in the project nostalgia mod to be 40s-60s, would that be interesting! Anyways, I think the Oshkosh and GMCs had to have made it to at least the later 70s, I know an oshkosh made it until the late 70s. Here is a picture of it below. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0IjRaIUCXhw/VQygseTzneI/AAAAAAABLRM/LBTcJc5L6lE/s1600/1955%2BOshkosh%2B1000%2Bgallon%2BLAFD.jpg I also found two more older tankers, not LAFD but same type they used. http://www.eastherkimerfire.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/GMC-TANKER.jpg http://www.eastherkimerfire.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/1952-TANKER.jpg

  3. I don't know if the mack tankers ever made it to the 70s considering those are late 40s rigs if memory serves, The others (GMC, Oshkosh) I have no idea whether or not those were in service in the late 70s or 80s. I did find a GMC on film in a video on one of the worst wildfires in California history. (Shows up in a brief few second long shot) I also found something that might interest those who like older LAPD equipment, a mobile command or communications truck photographed in 1973. Looks like the tractor itself is a ford commercial cab much like the 1972 ALF rigs that LAFD ordered in 1972. Also found this photo of the bomb sqaud van that carries the bomb robot.

  4. Hello everyone, this is just a quick update to address some rumors that have been circulating online... First, no action has been taken to stop development. Although it's been a slow and long process since it started, it doesn't mean it's dead. It has been reported that some individuals have been beating the drum that this mod is dead on this website, as well as on Discord, and on YouTube. I must admit, these people are incredibly ignorant of the fact that we are a two-man team with help from several volunteers who have generously contributed material to the mod. There is no commission involved. You are not entitled to or owed our mod. It will simply be a matter of waiting unless you pay us for our time. No monetary transaction is, however, of interest to us. For both of us, this is a hobby. Goog has a family and is fully engaged in his life. He is the basis of this modification; he is the prime meat on the bone, and he is the foundation of it all. The models he makes are meticulously detailed because he wants to deliver a fun and realistic gaming experience. He then hands it over to me in which I add a soul to these models with my realistic emergency lighting system, which is an extremely labor-intensive process on such an outdated game engine. Considering I am a full-time college student and work full-time, and having been involved in emergency 4 for almost 12 years, I find it difficult to find motivation or inspiration to open the editor on my time-constrained schedule. However, when I have time, I spend a few hours completing a model or two in a day. It is neither my intention to gain sympathy nor to justify the pace of our development. But to demand it now is ungrateful and does nothing to help. Perhaps you could delve deep into community tutorials and resources to make your own modification if you are that impatient. People who constantly DM me asking for ETAs or harassing us will simply be ignored. Basically, I see a few of you as vultures looking for opportunities to rip off or steal our development materials once it's out. In spite of this, most of you seem to be seeking new beginnings in such a legendary game, and this is the people who we are doing this for. The people who waited patiently and supported our development are what motivate us to keep going. Thank you. I appreciate your time, and I will be posting an update soon on several models that have been edited with ELS.

  5. Previous Page Next Page I don't see myself making those Fords as ambulances as they'd be a bit old for the timeline, however I would like that van as a civilian asset. I also think it would do really well painted in some flower/hippie colors. I already got some ideas in mind. It's a decent replica. I understand how hard it is to get authentic lights these days so I can respect the effort. Funny comment too. I won't do a watercannon truck because it's completely un-legit. I'll leave an option in the script for private ambulance patrol, but my the biggest priority is the battalion chief. I have no idea what it's trying to do there. Thanks for reporting this bug, I'll see what I can do to fix it. CHP used Chevy pickups instead of the Blazer. Commercial vehicle stuff is a long ways from now sadly. We don't have any American semi trucks or trailers in Em4, so I'll have to develop those first before I can even dream of functional CVE gameplay. ***************************************************************************** Happy Halloween everyone! The F250 truck base is ready. I'll get to work on the LAFD Brush unit ASAP. I also have a 1980 Caprice Brougham made. This used to be a police car but I've had to do editing to restore it back to civilian form. Previous Page Next Page

  8. No, you get downvoted into oblivion if you do anything other than look at the occasional screenshot. I have been following this thread on and off for years. Don't hold your breath.
