Hello all, it's me again Adam / TheVolume Swedish rescue services use W1 Lightbars which are manufactured by the Swedish company for the lighting of emergency vehicles http://www.standby.eu/sv/emergency/w1-lightbar/ And here I include photos from my work today (Note! Textures to improve - I use only Paint.net heh ) It just shows you how it came out that was the result of my work I use Blender because I learned it quickly in a month I greet you - The 3D model is modeled for the Swedish mod I'm currently working on I will of course release the W1 Lightbar soon ( To download ) How do you like what you think? like someone did not know - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiAsPIowJjs Here are my first Lightbars that I did

  3. CMCC626's Model Repository Welcome! I'm starting this thread as a place to post some models that I have been making recently. The goal of this thread is to simply share some things as they don't do anyone any good sitting on my hard drive. So with that being the case, anything I post under this thread falls under a Creative Commons license; that means that some rights are reserved. So, you can distribute these models in any mod you create, simply credit CMCC626 in your read me, but you cannot sell these models for money (they probably aren't good enough for that anyways). If you feel the need to post them on another site, that's fine, just please credit me and leave the original readme in the archive file. Be sure to check back regularly or follow this thread for updates! First up is a Whelen Edge 9000 / Whelen Freedom Edge light bar, 18 inch length. Freedom18.zip

  4. Who knows. Our governments already have everything anyway. So, to avoid going off topic: If you're doing a texture only lightbar, it should go for under 500. An example I can give is the attached pic. The exterior portion and mounts go for 424 polies/517 verts. Unconventional shapes like the Valor bar will go higher just because you have to do more shaping on them.

  5. You'd be surprised. A month or so ago, we caught someone trying to sell models that are owned by MikeyPI. There were a lot of German and British made Em4 models that were also being sold on this marketplace. We informed as many as we could, but its really up to them whether they would like to take legal action. I hoping people would have learned their lesson but it seems that people still dont care, 3 years down the road. Anyway, the model itself looks accurate. I'd advise cutting its polycount down by half. Such a simple lightbar shape wouldnt require 1000 polygons, or 3600 vertecies.

  6. I live in a city so a lot of these rural firefighting techniques aren't really employed. City doesn't even have a tanker because hydrants are super abundant. Montana is nice because it gets me out of my comfort zone and I get to do different style strategies than what are employed around me.

  7. Hey Ben, I'm glad you ARE still working on the mod, being the only one as far as I know. I do think people will understand that you also have a personal life, which surely will be accompanied by personal problems, worries and setbacks - just as anyone else. So for that matter, I don't think people will blame you for your efforts, to further develop The Netherlands Mod (TNM), to go that slow as you are talking about. As long as we'll hear from you from time to time, even with as little news as possible, we can wait. But maybe it's time again if, in your name, I can try to call in the troops from our forum (if there are any), who are now familiar with modding in Emergency 5. Maybe they are experiencing very good results at home with their own private little projects, and are willing to give it go, to help you out with TNM. So, if any of you players think/know, you already have enough modding experience to help and build the development of TNM to a higher level, please respond here. I'll get back to you the moment I read your message. I do know, that Ben12 wouldn't mind if he'd receive some help. I have good contacts with Ben12 already, so I'm sure we can make some good appointments together. Please, let's all try to prevent letting this beautiful mod go to waste, due to a lack of time of the one modder we currently have working on TNM. If only more modders would jump into our aid, I'm convinced we can do the job. Of course you can get in touch with me through PM as well. For what it's worth, I'm Dutch. Cheers!! Robert.

  8. I am working on it. Sadly progress is very slow due to the implications of coursework and the recent Hurricane Irma which went through my area (I lost power for a week, and recovery is still ongoing for several areas). I don't know when the mod will be ready if at all but fingers crossed by the New Year, if all goes right, I'll have good news.
