  1. UPDATE (12/29/2022): v2.5 RELEASED (forum account required for download link) Download is a text file with Mega link, copy and paste that link into your browser to download mod files! Make sure to read the included User Guide, as the mod has many new script based features you will not be familiar with using if you haven't played v2.5 yet. !!Regular Freeplay will NOT work, due to all the new scripts and features!! It will give you a blank map. Instead, go to Campaign/Missions -> Freeplay script to play freeplay. Mod Summary: The Montana Mod includes many new vehicles, personnel, structures, and equipment. It is set in an alternate history/re-visualization of the real-life ghost town of Monida Pass, in Beaverhead County, Montana. The mod provides the player with control over the first responders of an American small town and changes the look and feel of the gameplay environment to match. Itchboy has graciously lended his expertise and added multiple scripts for in-depth player control of Fire, EMS, and PD functions! Media can be found on the Download page above!

  2. If you've got no knowledge, it's going to be easier for you to simply buy a prebuilt machine. There are far better people than me to advise you on this, but you want something with a decent dedicated graphics card, a decent processor and a fair amount of RAM. That'd be a good starting point. What would your rough budget be?

  3. Dude, really? I can't tell whether you're trying to be funny (in which case, don't bother) or just plain annoying. I'll say it again, the one word posts are pointless, you generally add absolutely nothing to the topic! Sent from my SM-G901F using Tapatalk

  4. Here's a shot of the imported car. Just a little bug with the lightbar(it shares the material with the windows). the modell with the transparent windows is just amazing http://www.emergency-planet.com/uploads/monthly_2016_04/20160418175359_1.jpg.a2d7d52728b575b6c4c5799ed0247a57.jpg

  6. Ok so I took a break from the CPD (Chicago Police) Version because the same problems existed in BOTH models and needed to be corrected. Part of the issue was with the material being wrong and not displaying correctly. I was NOT happy at all with the textures. They were blurry and the old version of the Halogen moterized lightbar look like crap. Well I finally figured out how to get multiple materials into the game on the same model. It had been illuding me for awhile. I was able to finally fix the windows (YEAH!!!!) and also make a really good looking REALISTIC texture for the older style lightbar. So here are the shots. Now that I'm finally happy with the model it has been assembled in the world builder and now is a FULL model. Now it will be time to make it playable in EM2016. Here are the newest shots of the black and white model Windows are fixed and no longer broken, if possible the transparency will be adjusted to make the more realistic. May add windshield wipers but just as a texture. We will see. The models above are all assembled now with the correct placement of the doors, wheels, lights etc. The CPD model will follow next now that this problem has been worked out. I'm try to make it the most realistic as possible and the ugly Red/blue lights on the other model were driving me nuts. Here is a close up and you can see where the siren would be and the clear texture made to look like a halogen light and reflector with the rotating mirrors. Sorry I'm just really happy with the results. Next step is to make it playable and add the lighting effects, equipment etc. I have a patrol coming up later so not sure how much I will get done tonight but I will leave the computer so I can load a few of the shots that hopefully will show above. 7. Thankyou very much for the compliment Ben12 but I don't think you want me to be the SOLE person as I just don't have the time or the connection over here right now. This has become a project and a damn obsession to make this work but way too much stuff still needs to be worked on and changed for a full American Mod. This is a start and I'm hoping some other people will join in and start working with us. I can put it this way. "IF I CAN DO THIS THEN ANYONE CAN" I'm by far not the smartest person on this earth and this game really proves it. They make it so hard to do something simple. lol Anyways here is a preview of the vehicle in the EM2016 editor. Still work to do and to start testing in the game and make it playable. I have also been working on a FLARE complete with sparks to replace the signal disk. A new fire hydrant us style. here she is with the emmisive map lighting sitting next to the almost finished black and white version. You asked for it and Got it. The driver side spot light and the flattened light bar. I will prob be changing the red lighting on the top because it would appear in MOST photos that this is a clear or white lens. Stupid window texture problem has returned and the writing in the rear door is reversed for now. (STILL A WIP) Oh no someone tool the wheels. This is only the body imported for now and the doors lined up. The textures on this side a almost identical in placement size color etc. Why because I took them from photos and got them into the model .tiff file. Very happy with this side of the vehicle Finally the rear and yes before people start saying the plates are wrong I know. It will be switched to a corrected state plate when the model is completed. For now Its just the graphic decals on the back. If you look closely on the light bar center it has the American Flag found on the police cars however in the "game cam" most of these details and small imperfections won't be seen. That is until someone finds how to make a the "freecam" playable in game. No luck on my end as of yet. More to come and hopefully some IN GAME shots soon. Who knows. I had to leave the computer on almost all night to post these as our connection in the new location sucks. I will try and keep posted as i can. (by the way another huge thanks to killerconsti who keeps helping me when I bug him. Without his help I would NEVER have gotten this far as this game is difficult at best to get things done with) William516 Bill Delaware, USA

  8. 45 minutes to get these photos up wow we must be back to speeds of the old dialup modems. Oh well enjoy. Still a work in progress but hope to get some in game shots real soon. Still a few texture uv mapping issues that I'm trying to work out without redoing the whole car. But coming together nicely Have a great day William516 Bill Delaware, USA

  9. Chicago uses a totally different lightbar unfortunately. You will have to do a model swap on it besides editor work. Touching on the CVPI model itself, it honestly has quite a few flaws in the shape that it has, and looks wrong on some angles compared to the real CVPI. I would definitely recommend editing the model to get a more accurate shape on the vic, since you need to swap the model out anyway. You will also need to install spotlights on both sides of the cruiser. As for the OP, the model is clearly from NFS Hot Pursuit 2, played that game as a child. The model itself, once the polies are cut, should work in Em5, but you need to edit its shape like I mentioned above. The scaling on it from what I can see is off, due to how much longer a CVPI is in length than a Merc B Class. I also saw your topic on the civil cars and the other vehicles (Tahoe, Burban, 'rango). MikeyPI covers all of the issues with those models and all of his points should definitely be a factor in what you do. Good luck with your Em5 modding ambitions.
